1. Sabrina Setlur, the female rapper on this song, was known as "Schwester S" back then. "Schwester" can mean both "sister" and "female nurse".
2. The somewhat rude slang word "Alte", literally meaning "old female", is used here.
3. I don't think I ever heard the word "Chab" aside from the use in this song here, but then again I am not into rap, apart from translating lyrics I consider interesting enough. It definitely means some kind of male person, that much is clear to me.
4. The movie "Bodyguard", starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, was released in 1992. Based on the original German lyrics using the wording "in", it sounds like they specifically refer to watching the movie in the cinema.
5. To me, it sounds like "am Ohr kauen" is a variation of "das Ohr abkauen" which I personally am more familiar with - if it is, it essentially means keep talking to someone, typically in an overwhelming way, often to a person who has already made it clear that they are not interested. As the literal meaning of the phrase is used in the next line, I used the literal translation here already.
6. This is a reference to singer Nena, whose surname is Kerner, and her song "99 Luftballons". An English language version of this song, titled "99 Red Balloons", also exists. I don't fully understand this lyric though because I don't understand the word "ripp".
7. Erika Berger was a German television presenter and author well known for her shows and books on sexuality.
8. "Im Dunkeln ist gut munkeln" is a German idiom - I chose this translation as I couldn't come up with anything else.
9. "Frauchen" is used specifically for female pet owners. The male equivalent is "Herrchen".
10. Reference to the 1993 movie "Sleepless in Seattle" which is known as "Schlaflos in Seattle" in German-speaking countries. Rödelheim, after which the artists performing this song named themselves, is a borough of Frankfurt in Main.
11. Bubbles was Michael Jackson's pet monkey.
12. Fanta 4, full artist name "Die Fantastischen Vier", were one of the first German-language rap groups. They are still active to this day.
13. "Babbeln" can just mean talking, usually meaning not too deep conversations, but it is also specifically used to indicate someone speaks with a Hessian dialect. Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt are from the German federal state of Hesse.
