Here it says that Rihanna also sings in German and Japanese but she doesn't.Please moderators correct it.
Changed
Someone keeps changing her country of origin to United States, although it is known that she was born and raised in Barbados and should be therefore considered Barbadian.
I guess it is less a question of residence and having citizenship and more of how the person looks at herself as belonging to a certain country/culture. Rihanna has moved to America to porsue a career, but her whole life prior to that is connected to Barbados (she has lived most of her life and was even discovered as a potential artist there). Also, despite being considered a citizen in America she has shown in interviews how much she embraces her original culture and her Barbadian heritage, often going back to the country to participate in cultural events such as Barbado's Carnival and even maintaining to a certain degree the English accent from her hometown. She may not sing songs traditionally from there, but I think it is important to state where she is from when she seems to be so proud of her origins. :)
