Forgive Me
Original lyrics
Turkish
Translation
English
Ramazan
Sen ruhumda can, ilk aşk senle hissettiğim heyecan
Sen varsan bende, dört mevsim ömrümde bahar
Bize sabretmeyi, güzelliği, anlatan
Ramazan Ramazan Ramazan
Ey sevgili
Ramazan Ramazan
Nuruna erdir bizi
Sen rahmet dolu, huzurun yolu, kutlu bir ay
Ramazanla geldi kur'an okundukça kalpte yüceldi iman
Bize sabretmeyi, güzelliği, anlatan
Şimdi üstüme güneş doğdu
Geceler aydınlandı nurunla doldu
Özgürlüğü ben senle hissedeceğim
Ve bu her daim sürecek
Bitmeyen bir aşk
O Ramazan
Ramadan
You live in my soul, I felt my first love with you excitedly
When you exist within me, My life's four seasons are always spring
You teach us patience and beauty
Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan
Oh my love
Ramadan Ramadan
Don't deprive us from your light
You're full of mercy, a peaceful way, a blessed month
Ramadan has come, as Quran is read the faith in your heart exalts
You explain to us patience and beauty
Now the sun came up on me
Your light illuminates the nights
With you, I will feel liberty
And it will continue forever
Endless love
Oh Ramadan

böylesi bi eseri çevirmen çok güzel ve anlamlı olmuş bir kaç ufak düzeltme yapmak istiyorum izin verirsen :)
if you exist, me too = sen de bende varsan demek oluyor, if you exist on me doğru olacaktır
Kur'an okundukça = as Quran is read
yine genel olarak güzel çevirmişsin, emeğine sağlık ve hayırlı ramazanlar,Allah oruçlarını ve dularını kabul etsin :)
Tamam yapılmış :) çok teşekkürler, sana da Allah oruçlarını ve dularını kabul etsin :)
yapıldı veya yapılmıştır dersen tam doğru olur zeki öğrencim :) rica ederim ve bende çok teşekkür ederim, hep beraber inşallah,Allah razı olsun :)
Ameen çok sağol :)
If you exist on me...is what a turtle with a bright green algae growing on his head. would say in his poem to the algae. however like the famous words of Jesus Christ the kingdom of God is within. Long story short, it should be "If you exist within " not "on"
Okay done ! thanks :)
lol on second thought you should completely remove the "if" because he has no doubt...right? so it should be when you are with me, my life's season is always/remains spring.
Ah yes "when" looks better ! thank youu :)
Thank you for your votes :)
I always 5 star for effort...however this is a really nice translation THANK YOU
You're welcome, thank you for the appreciation :)
it sounds better in turkish :)
Yes true, I listened to it in arabic, english and turkish but I prefer the turkish version, the lyrics are not the same in the three versions :)
haha i just heard it, made my head big :p the english version of it
hahahaha ! you're right, the turkish version is the best ! :)
maybe their english songs should sound more native and less arabesque...I disagree with you both, its sounds exactly the same to me. the language is different they both s̶a̶y̶ mean exactly the same thing, but i like the english version, he doesn't sound like a native turkish speaker that is for sure
p.s. sorry :D
The singer is from sweden, and his native language is not even english LOL and the lyrics are not the same, maybe the context and the meaning are the same but it's not a translation of lyrics :)
that's true, however when you translate you can rarely ever use the same wording, even then it will be in a different order. The important thing is the meaning not the words used...the important thing is to keep my head big...as i said "when you are with me" he said the same thing but wished it instead...:p
hehe you're right ! we don't always use the literal translation but for me the turkish language sounds better than the english one in this song but everyone has his own point of view of course :3
i like turkish its different and stands alone, i find it very interesting...My friend speaks Japanese and he claims they are similar in grammar...to me its only evident when turks and japanese use english words LOL I also read a finnish speaker claim the same about finnish & japanese...i have yet to meet a finnish turkish speaker to hear their opinion :D
hahaha when you meet him, tell me about his opinion :D but for me all the languages are different and have their own charm and specificities :D
will do :) and you are right some languages are meant for poems while others are meant for legal purposes...you don't want a legal document to have words with 15 meanings, although corporations might love that lol...
that's true :D but I don't think that corporations would love that .. hehe
I love the three languages Arabic and English and Turkish, where each has its own tone in the ear and I love those differences :)
That's true :)
