1- [Mount] Qaf: [original title] legendary mountain in the popular mythology of the Middle East. In Persian, "[on top of] Qaf" (Literal translation) is an idiom meaning something far, far, away. Used 'mountaintop' in the title and in the poem to be more familiar for the English-speaking reader.
