Bueno, creo que Pan era seguido representado como un ser pervertido que corría desnudo por los campos. Tal vez un jardín de Pan significa un lugar donde reina la libertad absoluta (soló mi interpretación personal).

This is the correct interpretation, I think. This lyric is just saying "A garden of bread and poetry." Sounds nice to me.
"El jardin" vs "un jardin" seems to matter here.
