LOSE CONTROL is a 1st mini album by LAY. It was released on October 28, 2016. This album contains a total of six Chinese songs, and LAY demonstrated his capability as a singer-songwriter by writing, composing, arranging all songs of this album, and completing the album with his own musical talent and style. One of the most talented producing team, DEVINE-CHANNEL, also participated in writing and composing to add to the perfection of the album.

LAY 02 SHEEP is a 1st studio album by LAY. It was released on October 7, 2017. This is the new solo album coming out a year after his first one released in October 2016, ‘LOSE CONTROL’. It will give the chance to experience more profound world of music created by LAY as he not only composed and arranged all songs and wrote lyrics for eight songs but also produced the songs. Excellent producing teams that displayed fantastic teamwork through LAY’s first solo album such as Devine-Channel and Command Freaks and the world-renowned producing team, The Stereotypes, also lent a hand for the better quality of the album.

Winter Special Gift is the special winter album and 2nd extended play by LAY. It was released on December 22, 2017. This album contains a total of six songs. The title track 'Goodbye Christmas (聖誕又至)' also has an English and instrumental versions.

NAMANANA - The 3rd Album is LAY’s 3rd solo album and the US debut album, which was released on October 19, 2018. 11 songs were recorded in both English and Chinese to fully present rich musical sensibility of LAY. LAY participated in the composition and writing of all songs in the album to demonstrate his talent as a singer-songwriter. Renowned teams of composers such as Rice n' Peas and 153 Joombas Music Group also worked with him to raise the quality of music, and the album is expected to win fervent responses from the fans globally.

Honey is the 3rd mini album extended play by LAY. It was released on June 14, 2019. This album contains a total of four songs. The title track 'Honey (和你)' (English version) also has a Chinese version.

蓮 (LIT) is a 4th solo album by LAY. It was released on July 21st, 2020. This album is composed of Part.1, which delivers six songs in the ‘M-POP(Mix-Mandarin-Pop)’ genre that added western style to traditional Chinese music on the theme of previous life and this life, and Part.2, which delivers six trendy songs in modern feeling. All twelve songs in Chinese will present the colorful world of LAY’s music.

PRODUCER is a special collection that complete with LAY’s self-composed and self-produced songs featured on iQiyi’s singer-songwriter survival show CZR II (我是唱作人2). The album was released on February 5, 2021.

東 (EAST) is a 4th mini album by LAY. It was released on October 15, 2021. This EP contains 4 songs that Lay personally planned and produced with the concept of going on a journey of the heart to reflect on himself.

西 (WEST) is a 5th mini album by LAY. It was officially released on September 24, 2022. This EP contains a total of five songs: 'Veil', '3 Wishes', '懂', '我不在乎' and '面纱 (中文版)'. The title track 'Veil' (English version) also has a Chinese version.

In creating this EP, Zhang Yixing took inspiration from the ancient "Xizhou Opera" ("西洲曲") and began a new musical journey from "East" to "West" with the concept of "Dream of Xizhou" (“寻梦西洲”). The first single from the EP, "Veil", Zhang Yixing made the audience unravel the mystery of the Xizhou with his "feast for guests and friends" music.

Using the allegory of "dream" and "reality", Zhang Yixing expresses his longing for beauty in his heart through his song "Veil" and says he will never stop.

STEP is the second (mislabeled as the first1) English full-length album by Lay.
It was released on June 14, 2024 with "Step" serving as the album's title track
