* Gackt sings maaka ("pure red") instead of the written shinku (真紅, "crimson, deep crimson"). I'm not familiar with the word maaka so I might be hearing it wrong, but I think it refers to like, a deep reddish color.
** The written lyrics say karada (躰, "body") but Gackt sings hako (箱、"box") instead.
*** In a common kanji switch of his, Gackt sings kakera (欠片, "fragment") instead of the written hahen (破片), which is also "fragment."
