It seems to me that you are relying a little too much on translating each word of the original literally, with the result that you fail to put the whole sentence into idiomatically correct German. Since I'm not a native speaker, I won't presume to correct your German. What I do is, after I decide on a phrase, I google it in quotation marks and check how people are using it to make sure it really means what I think it means and is used in texts with the same general level of formality/informality that I'm shooting for. Since I'm not a native speaker, surprisingly often I get no hits at all, because even though they're all German words, no German ever strings them together like that. An example would be "Hoffnungslosigkeit eingeht" or "Hoffnungsloskeit geht ein." No hits because no German ever says that. But if I google "Hoffnungslosigkeit geht" I find "Hoffnungslosigkeit geht ins Mark" which isn't word-for-word, but hopefully does a good job of conveying an idiom that doesn't have a direct German equivalent. And then someone who's actually a native speaker comes along and tells me I'm wrong, and I learn something ;)
I don't have that impression at all xD To me it first even seemed to be written by a native speaker of German who misunderstood some parts of the English (though some mistakes are a bit strange for a native speaker).
But you're right about the line "Hoffnungslosigkeit":
"Und die Hoffnungslösigkeit eingeht" can't be expressed that way, rather make it to "Und sich Hoffnungslosigkeit einnistet" (it's a bit free maybe but I think that reflects the English line rather well)
"And the seasons stop" means "und die Jahreszeiten halten an" (sie halten selbst an, nicht jemand anderen auf)
"unter dem Grund" -> "unter der Erde"
"And I take it in" I'd rather make to "und ich nehme es in mich auf" or "und ich verinnerliche es" or maybe "und ich lasse es auf mich wirken".
"I will reach inside" means "Ich werde hineingreifen".
"Just to find my heart is beating" means "Nur um herauszufinden, (dass) mein Herz schlägt" or "nur um festzustellen, dass mein Herz schlägt"
"Oh, du sagst mir, ich soll aushalten"
Better use "durchhalten".
"Unschult" should be written with "Unschuld".
"With the darkness fed" is past. You translated it as future.

Idiomatic statements are one of my greatest difficulties when translating, so I really appreciate better suggestions for those. fulicasenia, I'll have to remember to consult Google about special phrases in the future. Sciera, I've taken your suggestions into consideration and made my edits accordingly. "With the darkness fed," though, I wasn't entirely sure how to translate directly and so tried to approximate with meaning.
I'd rather understand that line as "(me,) having been fed with darkness". But I could also be wrong, it doesn't really make sense to me.
It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it rhymes with 'red' ;). I would also interpret it that way - "Mit der Finsternis gefüttert, werde ich deine Vogelscheuche sein."
