This is a very poetic song about longing for Kurdistan. Some of the poetic sayings may have been lost in translation. Sayings like "Warê hebûnê" (The place of existence), "Kaniya jînê" (The river of life) and "Dayê" (Mother) are all optical names for Kurdistan.
