Note there is a play on words here in Spanish, the direct translation of 'portate bien' would be 'place yourself well,' but culturally saying 'portate bien' is just like we'd say 'behave yourself.' Additionally saying, 'portate bien mal' is not ' behave yourself well bad' rather a play on words to change the meaning of behave yourself well to behave yourself VERY bad. (hope that makes sense).
