Claro
Clearly
There's a misunderstanding between you and me
W
Multimillion records (laughs)
I am always plotting
So I don't see you where you pass
Where I go they say something about you
Where you go they say something about me
Stange that you don't speak clearly to me
I know what you ask for
For me to make you fall for me (lit. punish you)
Don't become difficult and give me it
So that you don't forget me (I would like you to be the chief)
I have a question for you
I am your lover or I am your friend
This is the deciding moment
You look me in the face and I see that you want to be punished
If you give me the opportunity I will quickly pursue you
Moving with the force of a thunderclap
I have the antidote
She has the poison
You tell me if I should give it without stopping
If you give the approval
I will chain you in a corner
I lose my way from home
I don't forget the mess
But you have me half confused
Tell me if we're headed for a challenge
Your body is mine, only mine
I know what you ask for
for me to punish you
Don't be difficult and give me it
So you don't forget me (Don't let me go)
Now if no one stops me
I will punish you
So that you don't forget me (We are already great)
Strange that you don't speak clearly to me
W
You have to be clear
Don't be bad
I wear expensive clothes
When you begin you never stop
You approach me and shoot me a kiss
you shoot
You flirt with me
you corner me in the disco/club
Today won't pass
without W going too far
No one replaces you
Begin to dance, it's a threat
You're a wild thing
disguised as a saint
I want you to do you know what
When I leave
I want to do bad things
Moving and making my mental faculties go out of control
I want to have intimacy with you
I am patiently waiting the moment
To feel your body again
I left desperately today looking for you
To devour you, no one will stop me
...Let the music go
Strange that you don't speak clearly
Be clear with me
...
Decide, doll
I want to take you to live at another level with me
Invite your (girl)friends
I'm with Hyde the Chemist
..You're going to feel you're in another dimension

OK, there's some issues here in the translation, but at least you can get the gist of what the song is about!!
I may add to this later, if the site lets me!

Thank you!
His words, like Yandel's, have a certain "flair" (for lack of a better word). I ran into the same difficulties a couple years ago when I did "Tu Nombre":

EDIT: I think "Claro" is a shortened form of "Claro que sí" which means "Of Course" in English.
Do you copyright your translations? why did you copyright the translation of Tu Nombre and how did you get the copyright?
Yes. I claim copyright in all works I produce, musical or literary. In order to "prove prior art" under the old rules and laws, there had to be a governmental recognition, usually the filing of certain forms and paying of governmental fees in order to claim copyright (intellectual property rights) in one's own works.
In the USA, there was a shortcut, known as "the poor man's copyright", wherein one made the US Postal service (as authorized under the US Constitution) to be the governmental body recognizing the "prior art", by sending a dated, registered copy of the particular work to oneself, and never opening it unless or until there was a legal challenge, in which case it would be presented in court as legal evidence. I did that in 1967 when I was 13 with the first song I ever wrote.
Updated copyright laws allow, but do not require, complete filings with the Library of Congress. You "get" copyright in the work by putting your copyright notice on it at the time you create it. Any contrary claims then have to be adjudicated in court. This is in accord with the 1886 Berne Convention, an international treaty that recognizes automatic copyright by content creators:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berne_Convention
The reason I claimed copyright is that I do not do machine translations. What I render in the target language is an interpretation or paraphrase of the source, based on what *I* see as important, based on what *I* see are the salient points.
From time to time there will be layers and shades of meaning that do not translate directly from one language to another, or from one culture to another. It is the translators choice of what and how to reveal his subject in his translation here.
These stylistic choices are every bit as exacting as the choices made by the original author. Questions of meaning. Questions of rhyme. Questions of alliteration. Questions of rhythm. Whether to emphasize a background image, or immediate sensory perceptions. These are judgment calls, not embedded in the original. Ultimately, all translation is paraphrase, which can be artful or disorderly, and can be evaluated on its own terms.
I only hope some of my renderings can be chosen on that basis.
Ok, I knew there was more here. (This double u guy IS full of double meanings, though, I think). In the Real Academia Espanola diccionario de la lengua espanola there is a meaning for castigar which is "enamorar por puro pasatiempo o jactancia" which I translate as "to make someone love you for pure fun,"( I'm not clear on the word "jactancia"). And YES, Claro does mean "of course." Someone complained about the lack of commas, all caps, saying that the lyrics needed to be cleaned up. All I can say is "Raro que el no hable claro. !Claro! Es porque la letra no es buena. Strange he doesn't speak clearly. Of course! It's because the lyrics aren't "clean."
I tried to have a spanish speaking friend help with the first verse (Yo siempre ando..), but we didn't come up with anything much clearer than what I've got here, or maybe I just still don't get it.
