This songs are super and very beautiful women.
Queen!
[@Alma Barroca] Since the artist is locked for editing, please change the name to "Sila" and add "Sıla" as name and "Sıla Gençoğlu" as original name. The character "ı" does not exist in English Latin-script characters (as evident in her official web address) and causes issues with search.
Done, thanks.
With all due respect, I think this is not a right decision. Her name should be Sıla and Sila should be used just as an alias (search hint).
She definitely uses Sıla on her official website:
https://silagencoglu.com/biyografi/
It’s not needed to add “Sila”, the search engine works well, you can write and search for “sila”, you’ll still be directed to “Sıla” page. I’ve been using search this way and it works perfectly fine.
We are not ‘adjusting’ names to English, we only transliterate names written in non-Latin scripts. Turkish is already in the Latin script and “ı” does not make search difficult, you can still write “i” and you’ll get to the page.
Dear [@Alma Barroca], may I ask why this page has been protected and if it's possible to be unlocked?
Surprisingly enough it was I who closed it, but at the top of my mind I don't really recall why. But it seems we had several duplicates being added and we having to merge them (just for them to be readded later on). I don't really remember if it was because of the I. As I do not speak Turkish I'll ask for the opinions of others (as Mods have access to logs Editors don't).
Hello. I checked each and every song wherein this artist either featured in or covered. All of the entries where 'Sıla' was written lead to this page, and there have been instances where both 'Sıla' and 'Sila' appear in those fields. I also put 'Sıla' in the search box and it led me to this page as normal. This convinces me that, really, 'Sıla', as her name is written in Turkish letters, can be input there, and 'Sila' can be added as a search hint. One can also notice that in her Wiki link it's 'Sıla' written. That said, I will edit the page once more.
Thanks!
Please update her official website too:

done.
