Most of her song are written by or with Mathieu Boogaerts and he's pretty sharp. And then there are the ones which are all her, like this. I think it shows. ;-)
"gone and..." is very idiomatic. "now look what he's gone and done". And I'm adding "gone" in the sense of "gone to the toilet". It's silly but suitably so.
You can even say things like "He's only been and gone and gone and done it!"
She's extremely young of course but I find the songs far better than I would have expected for a someone launched from a TV talent show. Some of them are pretty smart!
Yeah definitely got an edge to her - which is of course what makes her interesting :-)
