To appreciate this song, you have to know the Italian song "Nel blu, dipinto di blu". Dominico Modugno is the man who originally made it a hit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4IjJav7xbg
However, they specifically reference the version of "Nel blu, dipinto di blu" covered by the Gipsy Kings, which in my opinion is one of the best songs of all time by one of the best groups of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmbx4_TQbkA
Barilla is an Italian pasta company. Sadly, it seems to me that Pitbull is supporting Barilla's anti-homosexual statements.
I didn't translate mami and papi -- those are very typical Latino words that are sexy yet innocent ways of addressing women (mami) and men (papi) -- it seemed best not to try to translate them.
I wondered if when they wrote the lyric "Que rica esta nota," they wanted to evoke the Italian word "notte" which means "night."
I translated "En el tubo" into "on the phone," because "tubo" is slang for phone in some countries, so I figured that must be what he meant.

Thank you!!!?❤
You're welcome! Make sure to see the notes I wrote. It's kind of a complex song.
I saw the notes?
Dear Mrs. Catalu
Very accurate and useful comments. I appreciate that.
I learned something.
Your comment made me decide to add two YouTube videos that will help people understand the references that are being made in the song. Please be sure to watch this video if you aren't already familiar with "Nel blu, dipinto di blu" by the Gipsy Kings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmbx4_TQbkA
Also the original Italian singer, Domenico Modugno: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4IjJav7xbg
